How we measure token savings
Only Read webpage and Docs digest qualify. That list is a config table, so more tools can be added later.
Read webpage's baseline is the raw HTML tokens of the same URL, or 13,287 when unknown, with a factor of 0.736. Docs digest's baseline is the tokens of the pages it read, with a factor of 0.752.
Delivered tokens use the o200k tokenizer and leave the receipt out. Saved tokens are the smaller of the reduction and the factor times the baseline, rounded down to the nearest hundred.
A figure stays hidden when the tool has no baseline, barely shrinks its input, or the call failed, was credited, or was replayed, or when savings are under ten percent. Totals add only shown figures. Nothing is backfilled. Every figure is an estimate.
